What's free
You can join, build a profile, add photos and browse members without paying anything. Free members see adverts. It's a reasonable way to see whether there's anyone near you who interests you before spending money.
What a paid membership adds
A membership turns browsing into conversation. It adds:
- Reading messages and replying to them
- Seeing who has viewed your profile, and likes
- Read receipts
- Viewing members' photos in full
Optional extras, and whether you need them
Extras are sold separately and none of them is needed to use the site. They change how visible you are or what you can see, not whether you can talk.

Renewal, cancelling and leaving
Every membership renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. If you only want a short spell, set a reminder for the day before it renews.
- To cancel: log in, go to Settings > Billing and stop the renewal.
- To leave altogether: tap your avatar, then Settings > Delete Account.
- To do both: cancel first, then delete.
Cancelling stops future payments; deleting removes your profile.
How it shows on your statement
Payments go through the network's checkout. The billing name that will appear on your statement is shown at checkout before you pay; make a note of it so you recognise the charge.
If you spot a charge you don't recognise, check it against the billing name you noted and your renewal date first. If it still doesn't make sense, contact the members help centre, explained on the contact page, before going to your bank.
Before you pay: a quick checklist
Four checks at checkout save most billing surprises.
- The price and currency. Your bank may add a fee for a foreign-currency payment.
- The plan length. A week and a month renew on different dates.
- The renewal line. Note when the next payment is due.
- The billing name. Write it down so the charge doesn't confuse you later.

Is there a free trial?
Joining and browsing are free, so you can see who's around before paying. Any paid plan, including a short introductory one if it's offered, renews automatically, so read the renewal line at checkout and set a reminder if you only want a short spell.
What currency will I pay in?
The members area shows the price and currency before you pay. Check it there, and remember your bank may add a fee for a payment in another currency, which can make the final amount on your statement slightly different from the checkout price.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled under the members terms. Read them before you buy, and contact the members help centre if you think you've been charged in error. Cancelling stops future renewals; whether any of the current period is refunded depends on those terms.
Does cancelling delete my profile?
No. Cancelling only stops the next payment; your profile stays until you delete it. To remove it, tap your avatar, then Settings > Delete Account. If you want both, cancel first, then delete.
Do I need any of the extras?
No. Boosts, priority messages, a 24-hour pass, revealing likes and the ID badge are all optional. A membership is what lets you read and reply to messages; the extras only change how visible you are or what you can see.
