In short
Meet Naughty BBWs is a real, adults-only dating site run by Ambervine Inc, a Delaware company. Joining and browsing are free; reading and replying to messages needs a paid membership that renews until you cancel. Who runs it
Meet Naughty BBWs is run by Ambervine Inc, a Delaware company at 131 Continental Drive, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, USA. The same company name appears in the members area, where you join, chat and pay. The site's about page explains who it's for and how our guides are written.
This website (www.meetnaughtybbws.com) is the information side: guides, prices and the facts on this page. The members area (members.meetnaughtybbws.com) is where your profile, messages and payments live, under its own terms.
What you get for free, and what you pay for
You can join, build a profile and browse without paying; reading and replying to messages needs a paid membership. This is the most important thing to understand before you sign up, because it shapes what you can do on a free account.
| Item | Free | Paid membership |
|---|---|---|
| Join and build a profile | Yes | Yes |
| Browse members | Yes | Yes |
| Read and reply to messages | No | Yes |
| See who viewed you, likes and read receipts | No | Yes |
| View members' photos in full | No | Yes |
Free members see adverts. Optional extras, such as profile boosts and an ID badge, are sold separately. Prices are on the prices page and, finally, at checkout in the members area. Read the checkout carefully: the price, the currency, the length of the plan and when it renews.
Five things people get caught out by
None of these are tricks, but they're the points most likely to surprise you if nobody mentions them.
- Memberships renew automatically. Every plan keeps renewing until you cancel in Settings > Billing. If you only want a short spell, set a reminder a day or two before the renewal date.
- Check the billing name at checkout. Payments go through the network's checkout, and the name that will appear on your statement is shown there before you pay. Note it down.
- Profiles are shared. Meet Naughty BBWs shares one member database with partner sites in the same network. Members of those sites can see your profile and message you, and your profile shows which site you joined through.
- Not everything is checked. Photos are reviewed before they appear, and nudity isn't allowed. What members say about themselves, such as age, job and location, isn't checked. The members terms also say that profiles and conversations may not always be what they seem.
- The ID badge is optional. A member with the badge has completed a paid ID check (a photo ID and a selfie, run by LEM Verify). Most members won't have one, and its absence alone isn't a warning sign.
How to check whether any dating site is genuine
A genuine dating site tells you who runs it, what it costs, how renewal works and how to leave, before you hand over any money. You can run these checks on any site in a few minutes. Here's how Meet Naughty BBWs answers each one.
| Check | What to look for | Meet Naughty BBWs |
|---|---|---|
| Who runs it? | A named company with an address | Ambervine Inc, Newark, Delaware |
| Are the terms published? | Readable terms before you join | Members terms |
| Is the price shown before you pay? | Price, currency and plan length at checkout | Yes, in the members area |
| Is renewal explained? | A clear statement that plans renew | Renews until cancelled in Settings > Billing |
| Can you leave easily? | A way to cancel and delete from your account | Settings > Billing; avatar > Settings > Delete Account |
| Does it overclaim? | Promised dates, member counts, or claims that all members are vetted | We don't make those claims |
What we won't claim
We won't tell you that members are vetted, how many members there are, or that you'll meet someone by the weekend, because we can't back those claims up. No dating site can honestly promise that every person on it is genuine or that you'll find a match.
Be wary of any site, this one included, that leans on those promises. A long list of "members near you" tells you nothing about who will reply, and a badge on a home page is not the same as a check on the person you're talking to. What we can tell you is how the site works, what it costs, what is and isn't checked, and how to stay in control.
How to spot a profile worth avoiding
The biggest warning sign anywhere online is a request for money, in any form, from someone you haven't met. These are the others worth knowing:
- They're intensely keen within days but can never meet or video call.
- They want to move to WhatsApp or Telegram straight away.
- Their story changes, or they swerve simple questions.
- Their first message is about your body, or they push for intimate photos.
If you see these, stop replying and report the profile through the members help centre; the contact page explains how. Report scams outside the site too: Scamwatch in Australia, or Report Fraud in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Our safety page has the full list, including Scotland, and the guide to fetishising messages covers body-first openers.
Spotted a charge you don't recognise?
Work through it in this order before assuming the worst; most unfamiliar charges turn out to be a renewal.
- Compare the charge with the billing name shown at checkout and any confirmation you received.
- Check whether it falls on a renewal date for a plan you started.
- Log in and cancel in Settings > Billing if you don't want it to renew again.
- Contact the members help centre with the date, amount and billing name.
- If you didn't make the payment at all, call your bank or card provider straight away.
How to cancel or leave
You can stop paying and leave from inside your account, without emailing anyone. Cancelling and deleting are separate steps, so do both if you want to go completely.
- Stop the renewal: Settings > Billing.
- Delete your account: tap your avatar, then Settings > Delete Account.
Questions about a charge go to the members help centre. Refunds are handled under the members terms.
So, is it legit?
Yes: it's a genuine dating site run by a named company, with its costs, renewal and profile sharing set out openly here and in the members area. It isn't vetted, though, so you still need the usual judgement about who you talk to and meet. If that sounds fair, browsing first costs nothing. The facts page has the essentials in one table, and how Meet Naughty BBWs works walks through joining step by step.
Questions people ask
What will my bank statement say?
Payments go through the network's checkout, and the billing name is shown there before you pay. Make a note of it, or keep the confirmation, so you recognise the charge later. If something on your statement doesn't look familiar, check it against that name before assuming it's fraud.
Why am I getting messages from people on other sites?
Profiles are shared with partner sites in the same network, so members of those sites can see your profile and message you. Your profile shows which site you joined through. It's worth remembering when you decide what to put on your profile, so keep identifying details out.
Are there fake profiles?
Photos are reviewed, but what members write about themselves isn't checked, and the members terms warn that profiles and conversations may not always be what they seem. Treat anyone who asks for money, refuses a video call or won't meet as a red flag, and report them through the help centre.
Is Meet Naughty BBWs free?
Joining, building a profile and browsing are free, and free members see adverts. Reading and replying to messages needs a paid membership, which renews automatically until you cancel in Settings > Billing. The members area shows the exact price and currency before you pay.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled under the members terms, so read them before you buy. If you think you've been charged in error, contact the members help centre with the date, amount and billing name. To stop the next renewal, cancel in Settings > Billing as well.
